Striking a Pose

Mommy has been talking about doing my first year portrait since I was eight months old. Now almost ten months later, she finally got her act together. Here I am just getting up after a little beauty rest for the shoot in the park.

The sun was shining, the weather was warm, it was the perfect day to take pictures in the park. I was so excited to be outside and to enjoy the beautiful afternoon. I felt like the paparazzi were documenting my every move. Daddy felt silly because he thought the whole park was watching us. And all Mommy was hoping for was a good family picture.

Cyndy and Sheila were the photographers at my parents wedding, so they were so excited to meet me. It was a little crazy at first meeting them and their big cameras, but by the end we were all friends. Sheila even saved my birthday car when it fell into the boat pond!

Everyone was so proud of how well I did that we decided to celebrate with dinner at Bouchon. I was so hungry after all my hard work that I had to indulge in some grapes before my grilled cheese and tomato soup came out!
