This Was Our July

July was lots of fun and very hot! My sisters and I had lots of fun with Miss Yai who came to visit while Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding. I went to camp with my friends all month and practiced my swimming everyday. My sisters and I went out to the burbs to visit our friends before we left for vacation.

We went to the High Line and went to the AOL Rainbow City.

I had so much fun running around the big balloons and but jumping inside the big mushroom was the best part. I even ran into my friend Jonathan there!

Lydia was ogling all the food from the food trucks, since she just started eating baby food. She was particularly interested in the kimchee tacos.

Siri on the other hand didn't enjoy the heat, so Daddy told her to nap instead of fuss.

Daddy built us a make shift tent in my room from blankets and kitchen twine. He may need to consult all the engineers in the family next time he tries...

Lydia and Siri both started baby food in July. Here they are post beets. I had a similar picture back in the day that Mommy can't find...

Wearing my new hat everywhere I go....

Wearing it Daddy-style...

Some shots of Super Siri....playing in my Thomas tent

Pouting...

Playing in my room...

Posing for the camera...

I went to camp this summer for the first time. I had so much fun with my friends! Here I am with Blake and our counselor Ellie...

We swam everyday at camp and it was a blast...

I loved the noodles and the beach balls...

All the swimming at cam made me a braver swimmer in swim class. Here I am jumping in all by myself!

Lydia's first crawl at 7.5 months. She was like an inchworm at first and then she moved onto to her butterfly stroke on land....

They loved swinging in the swings all summer long....even though Siri would squish Diddy.

They finally grew enough hair to wear hairclips...one of Mommy's happiest days!

Here we all are after a family adventure downtown. We had so much fun!

First Day of School

Nursery school started on Monday!! I have three new teachers, a new classroom and so many new friends. My job this week has been book collector and my teacher told Mommy that I am doing it with gusto!

Daddy was so excited he decided to go into work late to take me for my first day. I was so happy that he came with me!

Mommy was her typical wishy-washy self. One minute she was happy to see me go and then the next minute missed me so much. I think I saw a little something in her eyes when she pick me up after school.

I was excited to be in the same class as Blake. Like I tell Mommy, he's my buddy and girls can't be my buddies, they can only be girl-buddies. And so it all begins....

P.S.
Just because we didn't start school does not mean we aren't exciting too! Well, actually not much is going on with us this week. We've started taking baths with each other instead of P'Narinn because we go to bed so early. Lydia enjoys the lounger more, while Siri needs the ring to be contained.

Although, as you can see, Lydia likes to kick and splash me, which, depending on the day, is not very agreeable to me. Here I am giving her my warning eyes....
