Say Cheese, Dino

This weekend while Daddy was working, Mommy and I went to visit the dinosaurs at the ANHM. I saw a lot of friends from my How Do Dinosaurs... series of books.

I was very excited to meet the mammoth and inspected him from all sides many, many times. Since he was my favorite that day Mommy tried to get a picture of us. This is what she ended up with...

Not that I don't trust her abilities, but I wanted to capture him a certain way and wanted to snap the pic myself. Here I am telling him to say cheese while I got him from his better side.

After a fun afternoon at the museum, I insisted on an ice cream cone even though it was very cold outside. Here I am enjoying every bite all bundled up!

Happy to You Emily

Yesterday we celebrated Emily's 2nd birthday and I had so much fun playing with all my friends.

Normally I'm not a trampoline guy, but I loved it at the party. Enzo and I had a good time running back and forth from end to end.

And then we joined Emmie in some jumps and synchronized kicking.

After all that fun I got to sing 'happy to (birthday) you' and then enjoyed a delicious lunch and even better birthday cake. Thanks so much for inviting me to your wonderful party. I had such a great time!

Flashback Sundays

Last year I had a lot of firsts around this time and I thought that I would share them with you. I ate my first grilled cheese sandwich.....

Saw my first snow in mid-March....

Took my first subway ride.....

And enjoyed my first warm afternoon at a playground downtown.

Chaang

My favorite Thai nursery rhyme is Chaang Chaang, which is all about an elephant. So you can imagine my excitement when Mommy took me to a park with lots of elephants.

These elephants spray water all summer long to keep all the kids cool, but it's off-season now so they just sit with nothing to do. Well, that afternoon we thought it would be great to give them tattoos with our chalk.

I had so much fun with my blue piece of chalk that i did not let it go the whole time I was there....that is, until Mommy offered me a snack.

QT With T-Man

This weekend I spent a lot of QT with T-Man and Pete. Here we are sharing some sausage that one of the Daddy's packed in the Monkey Bag. We love to share food, but trains and cars are a different story right now.

Mommy was so impressed when she saw what a good job Daddy did of packing my lunch bag. Here we are enjoying some mac n' cheese with Moosey.

After a fun afternoon at the train park we had a nice dinner at PJ Clarke's. Here we are after dinner hoping for a little dessert.....

And here we are enjoying some Tasti D ice cream. Thanks Pete and Teddy for all the fun this weekend!

Out Numbered Mommy

Even though Mommy was away, I still had one Mommy to watch over me. She is already out numbered on her own, so with us she was really out numbered. Just look at all the boys she had this weekend!

We had such a wonderful time with her this weekend and Mommy can't thank her enough for all her help. Here we are enjoying a beautiful morning with baby Luca.

I had so much fun watching Guillaume run on Sunday and then enjoying a delicious burger dinner at my favorite joint in midtown. Thanks for keeping us company this weekend Enzo, Luca and Co.

Daddy Adventures

While Mommy was away enjoying a relaxing long weekend, I stayed home and had the best adventures with Daddy. I was so happy that I got to ride my trike the whole time.

The Mommies left us some goodies which included a very cool rubber band airplane that we used in the big kid playground.

We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the amazing spring weather. While Mommy was enjoying her sun in Cabo, I enjoyed my sun here in the city where it got all the way up to 70 degrees.

Someone's In the Kitchen With Mommy

I have become very interested in cooking lately, so Mommy let me have my chance to show her my mad skills. While she made fried rice for my dinner, I made a special something for her. It all started with my secret ingredient....Parmesan gold fish.

Then I threw in some peas and carrots, but really had my eye on the soy sauce....

After I put everything into the pot, I was ready for it to go on the stove. Unfortunately for me, Mommy broke the stove after she made fried rice so my special dish was never finished. Maybe next time!

Flashback Sundays

Spring finally came last year and I got to enjoy the playground for the first time. Although I was still only crawling, I loved to watch the big kids and go swinging.

Here I am enjoying a ride from Mr Moe during class with Blakester, or as I like to call him Bake. I can;t remember if I was having fun or if I was terrified.

Climbing on Mommy for an up close and personal shot. I love to look at pictures of myself from last year and say, Baby Narinn!

Sophie's Birthday Party

On Sunday I went to Columbus Gym to celebrate Sophie's 2nd birthday. It was such a blast, I especially loved the bagels and cream cheese for lunch!

I was told by many people that I would make a good goalie since I did such a good job grabbing and holding onto the soccer balls! Not quite what Daddy was hoping for, but better than nothing.

I did a pretty good job at walking the beam on my own and had lots of fun hanging! Here I am jumping off.

Happy Birthday Sophie! Thanks for such a fun party!

Dada Time

This weekend I will be spending a lot of quality time with Daddy while Mommy is away. We are both exicted for the ct to be away so we mice can play. Mommy is less nervous about me surviving than she is about Daddy, but I told her that I would take good care of him! Have lots of fun for us Mommy.

Cookie Cookie

After a very fun day with Mommy she treated me to a cookie from our favorite place in Time Warner, Bouchon Bakery.

Usually I have to share with Mommy, but not that day! I was so excited to have a "Big One" on my own that I could barely bring myself to eat it.....

Who am I kidding, I gobbled it up right away and ended up with a chocolate beard. It was delicious, thank you Mommy.

Violin Lessons?

Mommy always wanted to play the violin, but she ended up playing piano. So she was very excited to see me interested in the violin at music class.

Truth of the matter is, I also love playing the piano, but today the violin was calling my name.

Clean Cut

I finally went for my visit with Kim today and my head feels so much lighter. I feel like a new man again.

After she put my hair I thought it would be nice to help out and sweep up. Mommy wishes I liked to sweep this much at home.

As a treat for doing such a good job, Mommy let me have my first lollipop and I really enjoyed it!

Baby Locks of Love

I'm not sure if you have noticed, but my locks have been getting more long and flowy each week. When my hair is more out-of-control than Big T's I know that I am long overdue for a snip snip.

After my first experience at the kiddie salon, I don't just let anyone touch my hair. My stylist at my barber shop has been booked solid for the past two weeks, which has left me looking like this.

Thank heavens for Sassys because she got us appointments for Tuesday. Mommy might have had to take matters into her own hands. We all can only imagine what that would have turned out like....

Flashback Sundays

Last year I started to enjoy mobility at around this time. I just learned how to crawl so I was in a brand new world. I was still going to Gymboree class with all my friends and loved to dance to the bubble music.

I also loved to crawl through the tunnels but only if I saw Mommy at the other end!

Here I am having a little cuddle time with Daddy and all of a sudden noticing Mommy's camera as something that I would like to play with.

I can't even imagine what it was like not to be able to walk, now that I am such a big boy!
