Many people have been asking what we were busy with last week when we were on hiatus. I was sick for a little bit with a rash
which made me not photogenic, so here are some highlights of what Mommy was up to.....It all started with Mommy co-hosting a party for her friend Fiona who was nominated Outstanding Volunteer of the Junior League.
After that came Winter Ball at the Plaza where Mommy and Daddy got all dressed up to honor Fiona in style.
Mommy had an event for the American Ballet Theatre Company, where she caught up with her friend Lizzie and watched a documentary about young dancers from the
favelas of Rio
de Janeiro.
Towards the end of the week was her monthly potluck, where she was in charge of the entree. She made pork tenderloin with a "
Bouvet" cheese sauce for 12 of her friends.
It was a special potluck because they celebrated
Jin's "30
th" birthday and
bon voyage to
Joany who was moving to Florida, so she was very nervous making the entree.
To end the week, Mommy went to Emma's bridal shower at Battery Park Restaurant on a beautiful New York afternoon. I am so excited to go to her wedding in
Tennessee!
The last event was bowling night, which required Mommy and Daddy to make team shirts. They started out in first place because Mommy almost broke 100, but then ended up in last place when the Ouii Team out bowled everyone and Mommy barely broke 50.
