The sun decided not to come out and play at all today, so Mommy and I spent a pleasant afternoon playing a genteel game of croquet. Since I was new to the game Mommy let me pick my mallet first.
She gave me a couple practice hits before we got started. I've never seen the game played before, so I wasn't sure what type of a swing to use. I started by trying with a tennis swing, which did not work too well for me.
Then I moved to my field hockey sweep, which gave me more of a fighting chance.
Here I am bringing back a ball after a game with Mommy. I had so much fun pushing the balls (with my hands) through each wicket. I also tried to pull wickets out of the ground on more than one occasion, which might have been more fun.
