Flashback Sundays

Last year I started to enjoy mobility at around this time. I just learned how to crawl so I was in a brand new world. I was still going to Gymboree class with all my friends and loved to dance to the bubble music.

I also loved to crawl through the tunnels but only if I saw Mommy at the other end!

Here I am having a little cuddle time with Daddy and all of a sudden noticing Mommy's camera as something that I would like to play with.

I can't even imagine what it was like not to be able to walk, now that I am such a big boy!

Rain In

Yesterday we were rained in all day. From my perch I saw the wind and the rain gusting around and knocking everyone's umbrellas over. It was not so bad, I spent most of the day in my pjs playing with ALL my toys.

One of my favorite activities was lining up my animals all over the house. They really enjoyed it when I put them in the window so they could people watch and see the rain storm.

Being a little bit of a perfectionist, I kept readjusting the animals to make sure everyone had a good view.

Busy With What....

Many people have been asking what we were busy with last week when we were on hiatus. I was sick for a little bit with a rash which made me not photogenic, so here are some highlights of what Mommy was up to.....It all started with Mommy co-hosting a party for her friend Fiona who was nominated Outstanding Volunteer of the Junior League.

After that came Winter Ball at the Plaza where Mommy and Daddy got all dressed up to honor Fiona in style.

Mommy had an event for the American Ballet Theatre Company, where she caught up with her friend Lizzie and watched a documentary about young dancers from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.

Towards the end of the week was her monthly potluck, where she was in charge of the entree. She made pork tenderloin with a "Bouvet" cheese sauce for 12 of her friends.

It was a special potluck because they celebrated Jin's "30th" birthday and bon voyage to Joany who was moving to Florida, so she was very nervous making the entree.

To end the week, Mommy went to Emma's bridal shower at Battery Park Restaurant on a beautiful New York afternoon. I am so excited to go to her wedding in Tennessee!

The last event was bowling night, which required Mommy and Daddy to make team shirts. They started out in first place because Mommy almost broke 100, but then ended up in last place when the Ouii Team out bowled everyone and Mommy barely broke 50.

Playground Adventures

After music class on Wednesday I went to a playground I had never been to in the park. It was such a treat to run into Gracie there too. We were both very interested in this scooter we found there.

Mommy doesn't let me in the sandbox, but when I saw her looking away I begged Megan to let me in, hoping she would. After a little negotiating with Mommy, I finally got in and had lots of fun with Blake.

I got a little up close and personal with Allie right before we left. Mommy isn't sure if its because I wanted to give her a hug or if I was using her as support to stand up. Either way we both look too cute.

Another New Girlfriend

My friend William has a new baby sister, Sabrina Frances, and she is so very cute! Mommy went to visit her last week without me, since she is still so little. I can't wait to meet her on Monday when she comes to play group!

Snow Storm

We had a huge snow storm here in the city and T-Man and I took full advantage of the park. T-Man is a pro at sledding and loves to go on his own. This was my first time and I was pretty excited.....at first.

The hill was pretty icy on the second day, so it was very fast and slippery. We never made it all the way back up the hill! Here I am taking a break after our many attempts at getting back up.

Sassy bought this tube for us to use. I used it on the first day of sledding when the snow was still fresh, but I was a little scared on the ice. I had more fun pulling it around in the snow.

Here you can see all the snow we got in the storm. Mommy says that they recorded around 19 inches in the park. Can you believe that most of it has melted away now and today it will be almost 60 degrees outside!

I'm Back!

Hi everyone, it was so nice to know that everyone missed me. Mommy and I have had a crazy two weeks so we haven't had time to sit down and blog. But we're back now, so we have a little catching up to do...

Last week Daddy went to Palm Beach for most of the week and I am always up for some sun, so I thought that if I got in the suitcase he would take me along.

In the end Mommy and I had to stay home and we missed him very much!
