Great Lake, Great Vacation

At the end of August we took a trip with Big T and Co. and had a wonderful time on Lake Michigan. Here I am walking to the beach.

We were a little late in the season for beach umbrellas, so the Daddies got creative with their set up....each day it got a little less ghetto.

For our first day on the beach, the Mommies decided to put on our Euro-trunks. The Daddies quickly reminded them we were on Lake Michigan and not on an Italian beach. I think this was the last time they were worn....

I had a lot of fun with Sassy finding rocks and making them into a choo choo train.

Occasionally, I would find a dinosaur egg on the beach and have to bury it and then water it so it would grow.

After long days at the beach we came home and tried to wind down for bed time. This was one of our calmer moments that week.

I'm sure many of you remember that I like my swimming water to be as warm as my bath water. So, I spent a lot of time playing in the sand. Here I am getting buried by T-Man. It was hard work for him, but he kept at it!

T-Man worked so hard that day at the beach, so I decided to help Sassy during tubby time. Here I am having an Austin Powers moment while watering Big T to see if he will get any taller.

One day the weather was not so great for the beach, so we went to a water park at the aquatic center. I had so much fun and loved it because the water was so nice and warm!

The Daddies usually had morning duty until it was a respectable hour. Here they are keeping us entertained by pushing us back and forth in this big plastic bin. They got a work out and we had so much fun, Mommy calls that a win-win.

Daddy took me up top to get into the lake, which was a pretty smart idea because once I got in it was not so bad. After a while, maybe ten minutes, I was ready to come out and build a sand castle.

I couldn't make up my mind that afternoon because when Daddy went back in, I wanted back in too!

Here we are playing with Charlie Kitty Cat on the porch. He liked it when we rubbed his belly, but not when we chased him around the yard with swim noodles. Mommy thinks that's why we didn't see him a lot towards the end of the trip.

Since Daddy is so milky and can't sit in the hot sun, one afternoon I covered up and sat with him and Baby Sandy under the tarp. We had fun playing in the sand, but when Teddy found the big tire, I was on to new things!

I got to fly my first kite on a very windy day and it was a little scary how hard it pulled. I liked watching it in the sky and seeing it go higher and higher though!

I had so much fun and it was the best way to end summer. Thanks to Teddy & Co. for a great trip, we can't wait to do another one soon!
