Last night there was a big thunderstorm here in the city. All I could dream about were rain puddles and my new rain boots. I put them on first thing this morning and didn't even think about breakfast. I was a little sad that Mommy had other plans for us, so there was no puddle-stomping today.
She more than made it up to me in the afternoon by taking me to a new playground. I was so excited to explore all the different slides and jungle gyms. Here I am climbing the big kid slide. It was a little scary, but I was very proud of myself when I made it to the top.
The playground had all these hippos lounging about and squirting water. It was perfect for another hot day. I had lots of fun making friends with all the hippos.
Here I am riding a baby hippo with no hands.....all I need now is a cowboy hat.
