Mainly Mozart

I had so much fun playing with all of Miss Yai's toys. I had the most fun with her piano! It has so many more keys than my piano at home. Here I am showing her my mad skills, all self-taught I might add.

I think I saw her get a little misty eyed while I was playing because it reminded her of when Mommy and Na Tab first started to play. She quickly remembered her ordeal in getting them to practice everyday and her eyes dried up.

Leafy Greens Anyone?

While I was at Miss Yai's house I discovered the salad spinner in her cabinets. What a cool and entertaining invention....

Here I am showing the city folk how it works...

After I showed her I knew what I was doing she put me to work. Here I am very proud of myself for drying off the lettuce! If only everything was this much fun.

Gobble, Gobble

This year Mommy cooked Thanksgiving dinner at Miss Yai's house. Usually Na Tab does the heavy lifting as Mommy supervises, but Miss Yai had to step into some pretty big shoes. Here is the good prep job she did before the bird went into the oven.

Last year I didn't get to eat dinner with everyone because I was new to solid food, but this year was a different story. Thea Kasiani and I were so excited when we heard it was time to leave for Miss Yai's house!

Na Tab did a great job carving the turkey, here she is demonstrating how easy it is.

I had my own adult chair at the table and felt like such a big boy. The turkey was my favorite and I think everyone else's too. I was so happy to eat leftovers!

Misty & Me

Miss Yai and Yai Yong picked me up from the airport in Detroit and I knew it would be an exciting afternoon because I would get to see Misty. I was tired from the plane and then car ride that I decided to catch a couple winks in the bed next to her.

Miss Yai was afraid that I might get carried away with my petting, so she made sure that I was gentle with older and wiser friend.

Here we are posing for a picture in our matching sweaters!

Cookie Competition

The Annual Cookie Decorating Competition took place at Miss Yai's house after Thanksgiving and I was so excited to participate. Here is funny picture of Daddy rolling the counter, while Na Tab mixes the dough.

Most people know that Daddy is serious about competition, so here he is making sure all the cookie shapes are perfect and no one has a disadvantage. Na Tab was promoted to the role of supervisor this year.

Daddy pulled out all the stops and tried to win over the judges, but it didn't work out this year for him. Mommy and Na Tab tied for second place, after me! My winning design is the man at the top. I was going for the Keith Haring style....

Playing Catch Up

It's the holiday season, so Mommy and I have been so busy getting prepared that we haven't had time to blog! So here's a little catch up on the past couple days. Here's the calendar's new home in the living room.

Wednesday morning I woke up and went straight to the calendar to check out what was new. I was so excited to find Elmo's Christmas Countdown and watched it while I nibbled on breakfast! Here I am waiting for someone to help me get it down.

This morning I saw my trinket right away and I was thrilled since I am obsessed with trains now. This subway car is so cool because its the 1 and my friends and I take it all the time when we go on our adventures.

Here I am trying extremely hard to maintain my cool and get the subway car out of the box. I wonder what tomorrow will bring!

Xmas Countdown

I can tell that Mommy has been having so much fun getting ready for Christmas. She got me this cool Advent calendar to start our countdown and get me all excited for the big day.

Its such a great calendar made of mini hats and mittens with numbers on it. What a treat it was to wake up first thing in the morning and get a new friend!

I can't wait for what tomorrow will bring! I think it might be a book....
